“God’s Communication”

Praise the Lord, you are truly blessed! We’re going to be sharing today about the communication lines between God and man. The lines have been opened up. God has reattached man back to Himself by the Blood of Jesus. Colossians 1:20-22 reads,

“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight”.

Every believer has the right to have communion with the Creator. Verse 23 says,

“If ye continue in the faith…”.

We must always believe in what the Blood has done for us. If you have sinned after you have been saved, get it right! I John 1:9 says,

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

When we are reconciled to God, we can have communication with Him. Some Christians say God never talks to them. That is because they are not trained to hear. John 10:2-4 says that Jesus is the Shepherd and His sheep hear Him.

“But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.”

We have the ability to hear and follow God. Psalm 23:1 says,

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”.

When we start hearing the Shepherd, He will lead us into a place that is out of this world. Get a hold of this message, and you will never be the same again. Most Christians are in trouble because they need to be trained to hear the voice of Jesus. You might ask, "How can I hear His voice?" His voice is not heard with your mind, it’s heard with your spirit. We must learn how to listen with our spirit. I Corinthians 14:2 says,

“He that speaketh with an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God”.

When you speak in tongues, you are speaking spiritual secrets. Verse 14 says that a person who prays in unknown tongues is praying with his spirit. If we are going to do a lot of communicating with God, we will have to move into the spiritual realm. You might ask, “What good will it do me?” I Corinthians 14:2 says that by praying in tongues we speak to God and not to man. We make contact with God and have intimate relationship with Him.

Read the Bible on this subject until you get so hungry for it that you must have it. Watch your life turn completely around. The devil doesn’t want you to have it, so he will fight you. Resist him and he will flee!

Your Pastor,

Paul Craig

“My Daddy is God”

When you know down deep inside that your Father created the whole universe, you will never again think bad things can overpower you. God is more powerful than anything that can come against us. He takes a personal interest in keeping us blessed and protected. Galatians 4:6 says,

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts crying, Abba, Father.”

Our spirit is crying everyday for a greater intimacy with our heavenly Father. Because our minds are so earthly, and our Father is so heavenly, we tend to neglect spending time with our Father God. The earth and all the things in it are calling us to spend time with them. We must resist the temptation to give them a higher place in our life. Even as Jesus was 12 years old, He was seeking His Father’s will by studying with the doctors and lawyers in the temple. He wanted to know more and more about His Father from heaven. In these last days, there will be ample opportunity for us to be distracted with earthly, material things. In Ephesians, God calls us to redeem the time. The more time you spend with God and His Word in prayer, in church, and in study, you will learn who you are as a son and daughter of God. By doing this, you are redeeming the time.

The job of God’s family on the earth is to bring God’s business to the earth. At the time when Jesus said He must be about His Father’s business, He was studying in the temple with teachers of the Old Testament. Why? Well, we can't do something we've not learned. Even though we are children of God, our productivity is limited by our lack of understanding the Father’s will.

These are great days in the church. Great works of God will be accomplished through you and me as we are ever-increasing in our heavenly Father’s understanding. Our elder brother, Jesus, came to die for our sins and to reveal His Father to us.

Over the years, I have watched different family businesses, and it seems to me that when you have two generations working a business, that business is fairly successful. The second generation has learned both the first generation's understanding, and accumulated their own understanding. God has sent Jesus to receive His understanding and to give it to us through the Apostles that wrote the New Testament. The more we study the New Testament, we will pick up on how to function and operate as heaven operates. Father God runs heaven completely, nobody does anything unless God says so. God wants that type of living to be manifested in the church. We must push the envelope and live like heaven.

I love you,

Pastor Paul Craig

“Rewards Come By Diligence!”

In Hebrews 11:5-6 we see how God brings His blessings into our lives.

“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

We can’t expect rewards if we don’t do our part in diligently seeking Him. God doesn’t want to play second fiddle to anything in this world. When we learn this basic principle, we really see that God rewards those that diligently seek Him. He’s not talking about those that go to church three times a week. Now it’s wonderful that we go to church as often as the doors open, but we must realize what it really is to seek God. If I am going to church in obedience to God’s Word (Hebrews 10:25), I am diligently seeking Him. God and His Word are the same. If I seek to know God’s Word, I am seeking to know God! Why do I want to know God? I want to know God so I can be intimate with Him, so I can have fellowship with Him.

When I study the Word diligently with the motive of knowing God, I will find Him. Luke 11:9-10 says,

“Ask and ye shall receive; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

Every Christian can be intimate with God; but we must do our part, which is to diligently seek God. I know people that seek golf, basketball, fishing and hunting. Everything we seek after we start knowing. When I was a boy I sought after everything but God. I became a very miserable person. If we try to put things of the world in the place of God, it will cause us to be spiritually sick. If a person is spiritually sick, they will be miserable. When we seek God, God starts showing up in our lives. When He comes, He brings all of His wonderful gifts like healing, faith, joy, peace and power. As we seek God, we can do what He wants us to do. God’s desire is great! The plan of God’s abundance in our lives is more than we can imagine, but we will never receive His wonderful plan unless we seek Him. God and His Word are the same. If you hunger after His Word, you are hungering after Him. In your life you can settle for what you can make happen without God and go bankrupt, or you can go for God one-hundred percent!

I want to encourage you today…put forth much effort in your quest for God. God might ask you to turn off the world for a few months so you can get to know Him. If you draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh to you. He already let His Son die for us, and He has extended His hand of love toward us. Reach out and take it. He will guide you through Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, etc.

God wants to reveal Himself to you through His Word. Pick up the Bible, and go with God!

I love you,

Pastor Paul
